Hello, my name is Sharon Barnes-Sutton and I want to thank you for visiting my website for the District 4 seat on the DeKalb County Commission.

I have lived in this great county since 1988 with my family, working in the Healthcare industry and volunteering my time with various organizations. I would like to share with you my vision for DeKalb County and those issues which must be addressed to improve our collective quality of life.

 As Commissioner I will work to promote unifying the various localities in the county and encourage people to find common ground on issues we are all passionate about. I am a consensus builder. I do not believe in barriers, but in bridges. I believe in the concept of One DeKalb, and will use my position on the commission to end the divisiveness that is threatening to tear our county apart. We are a family and families stick together. 

 Most important, I am dedicated to serving as your representative so your voice will always be heard and your concerns appropriately addressed.
